(Sample Card)
I. Overview:
A versatile contactless smart card with a coil and chip laminated in PVC or high-temperature-resistant material. Available encapsulated chips include EM, 4**, 4102, 4069, 45**, S**, S70, Ultralight, ST175, T5557, RF256, TK4**, LEGIC, etc. Supports offset printing, personalized images, silk-screen printing, inkjet coding, dustproof, waterproof and shock-resistant.
Contactless IC cards, also k**n as RFID cards, are a new technology **ed in recent years. Data reading and writing can be completed as soon as the card is brought near the card reader surface. It successfully combines radio-frequency identification technology with IC card technology, solving the difficulties of being passive (no battery in the card) and contactless, and represents a major breakthrough in the field of electronic devices. Compared with contact IC cards, contactless IC cards have the following advantages.
1. ** reliability,
There is no mechanical contact between the contactless IC card and the reader/writer, avoiding various faults caused by contact reading/writing, such as faults caused by rough card insertion, insertion of foreign objects, or poor contact due to dust or oil. In addition, the contactless IC card has no exposed chip, so there is no need to worry about detachment, electrostatic breakdown, bending or damage; this both facilitates card printing and **s the card's usability.
2. Convenient and fast operation,
Because it uses RF communication technology, the reader/writer can read and write the card within a 10cm range, with no card insertion/removal action. The contactless IC card has no directionality in use; the card can be swiped across the reader surface in any direction, and the read/write time is no ** than 0.1 second, greatly speeding up each use.
3. Security and anti-collision,
The serial number of a contactless IC card is **; the manufacturer has fixed this serial number before the product leaves the factory, and it cannot be changed. No two cards in the world have the same serial number. A mutual verification mechanism is used between the contactless IC card and the reader/writer: the reader verifies the card's validity while the card also verifies the reader's validity. Before operation, the contactless IC card performs three-way mutual authentication with the reader, and all data is encrypted during communication. Each sector on the card has its own operating password and access conditions.
II. Applications
Because contactless IC cards are ** convenient and fast, they can be widely used in e-wallets, access toll control, automatic bus ticketing, automatic parking payment, canteen meal payment, attendance and access control, and many other applications.
