Keri's ** P-300 and P-** proximity reader series features an attractive design, superior performance, compact size, ultra-thin construction and a lower price than similar products. Both readers comply with the WIEGAND industrial standard and are compatible with any access control system using WIEGAND input. They offer optional LED and audio indication, low current consumption, and self-diagnosis functions such as power-on self-test and data-line testing. Moreover, because the reader itself is very small and ultra-thin, customers can easily OEM it into their own product by simply changing the housing.
The P-300 is currently the world's smallest proximity reader, measuring just 76 x 38 x 12 mm (L x W x D). It is designed to be mounted on a standard metal door or window frame (mullion), without reducing the read range on any metal or non-metal surface. The read range reaches 10.2 cm.
The P-** reader can be mounted on a smooth wall through a standard mounting box, with a read range of 12.7 cm; when installed, the P-** must be at least 13 mm from metal. The reader measures 114 x 76 x 10 mm (L x W x D). Compared with other readers on the market, it is thinner and ** stylish, and attracts ** attention when installed at the workplace. These two proximity readers are compatible with Keri's ** PSC-1 Light Proximity Card, PSM-2 Multi Technology Proximity Card and PSK-3 Proximity Key Ring Tag. These three cards are compatible with any WIEGAND protocol and the standard WIEGAND 26 format; with this technology, they can be used on any Pyramid series reader regardless of the proximity card or tag format.
