U.S. Keri PXL-**/**1 Tiger access control controller
Features:
¡ôClassic hardware design lowers the total installation cost of access systems
¡ô100% distributed intelligent terminals, expandable by 1 or 2 doors at any time
¡ôThe PXL-510 adds an extra serial port for alarm-system control (arming/disarming the
alarm system by card, with keypad partition management)
¡ôExcellent installation features, including: automatic hardware setup without jumpers,
Automatic digital address selection and display (no DIP switches), fast
controller setup and controller fault diagnosis
¡ôRS-485 bus, 256 doors / 65,000 card capacity
¡ôDirect RS-232 to a PC, plus TCP/IP and modem connection; 5-year memory retention
¡ôCompatible with PXL-2** systems
U.S. KeriPXL-**IITiger access controllers can be networked in a single zone of 1 to 256 doors, or across remote multi-zone networks of thousands of doors. With a ** structure and the ** multiprocessing RISC (reduced instruction set) design, Keri products cost less than competitors, lowering installation costs. Managed via Keri'sDoors™ Windows access management software.
PXL-**includes all I/O for a single door (lock output relay, RTE button, door-status input, two reader inputs and alarm output), plus an alarm output. Each controller has an RS-485 port for networking with otherPXL-**controllers (up to 128); each also has an RS-232 port for PC communication, with the first controller in the network connected to the PC. The PXL-** connects to Keri's acclaimed MS-series readers or WIEGAND readers (PXL-**P for MS series, PXL-**W for WIEGAND-format readers). The PXL-510 provides integrated access-alarm functions,Using the NetworX (Caddx) NX-8E alarm module, a single card can arm/disarm the alarm system, and keypad partitions can control different alarm zones; access and alarm information appear together in the management software. SB-593The expansion board mounts on thePXL-**to form a two-door controller, at far less cost than adding another controller.SB-593 The expansion board adds to eachPXL-** controlleradds 8 general inputs and 4 general outputs. Two I/O are used for the second door, so the PXL-**, as a two-door controller, additionally provides 6 inputs and 2 outputs.
