MS-4000 The ShootingStar ™ is a proximity card reader specially designed to deter crime and vandalism. Building door frames are made of stainless steel or other hard materials, so the reader can hardly be pried off through a wall. The reader face is made of many layers of cross-woven fiberglass; it withstands close-range 9mm bullet fire and the heat of an ordinary cigarette lighter.
MS-4000It is typically used where other readers cannot meet vandal-proof requirements. The reader is mounted in or behind a wall, hidden except for the read face. Traditional proximity readers are easily vandalized and need frequent replacement, causing inconvenience and higher cost. The MS-4000 is recognized as a good reader for high-security, anti-pry, anti-vandal applications.
