Overview
The MicroProx tag offers convenient HID proximity technology in a small, disk-shaped transponder. Simply stick the adhesive-backed tag onto any non-metal card or device, and you instantly have a proximity card!
With the MicroProx tag, you can upgrade from magnetic-stripe or barium-ferrite technology by simply sticking the tag onto an existing access card. Users can easily and cost-effectively turn a plastic ID badge or contact smart-chip card into a proximity credential!
Add proximity access control to users' phones, PDAs, and similar non-metal devices. Experience the convenience of proximity technology without costly badge reissue!
Key Features
About the size of a coin (1.285 in / 3.264 cm), it attaches easily to all non-metal materials.
The tag can be programmed in any HID proximity format and is compatible with all HID proximity readers.
The tag is RF-programmable and can be encoded easily using HID's ProxProgrammer®.
