The dormakaba ED** automatic swing door operator: dormakaba offers swing door operators for a wide range of applications. This unit is available with a standard arm as a push version, or with a slide-rail arm as a pull version.

Multiple functions available
In addition to the extended cover, the DORMA TM also provides an easy-to-install coordinator for double doors. With the DORMA upgrade card, system functions can be adapted to various door versions. Powerful integrated functions further ensure that most applications are met.
Door-closer mode and automatic mode
Users can choose between two operating modes: closer mode and automatic mode. In closer mode, the ED ** is optimized for manual operation. With the optional electric assistance, closer mode works mainly as a manual door with door-closer function, while automatic mode provides hands-free entry via sensor activation or push button.
Wind load control
DORMAThe ED ** swing door operator is especially suitable for exterior doors subject to wind load, and also for interior doors between rooms with different air pressure. In automatic mode, the wind-load controller monitors the drive speed and keeps it at a constant preset value.
Electric power-assist function
DORMAThe electric power-assist function of the ED ** can be activated in door-closer mode. When a user pushes the door gently, the assist kicks in to support the manual opening cycle and automatically adjusts to the preset closing force.
