Its versatility stems mainly from its electromechanical structure and partly from its modular design. When the door motor runs, it works together with a spring integrated in the drive housing. The energy for the closing motion is stored in the spring and is, as required, also motor-assisted. Even without motor assistance, clever mechanics achieve optimum power deployment across the whole swing range - for example, reliably moving the door to its end position against draft resistance while meeting current safety codes and standards.

 

The record DFA 127 operates door sizes EN4 to EN6. Using special adjusting screws, different spring forces can be set quickly and accurately.
