Automatic Door Opening and Safety Sensor
SMART FOCUS provides the following functions:
Anti-collision protection for the door frame when a sliding door opens.
Anti-collision protection for the door frame when a curved or swing door closes.
Anti-pinch protection for the right door frame and the leading edge of the moving wing when a revolving door closes (with monitoring).
Active infrared principle
SMART FOCUS is a background-suppression active infrared sensor (i.e. triangulation type) with a detection area of 35 mm x 70 mm (at a 2.2 m installation height).
SMART FOCUS suits applications requiring a precise, narrow detection area, and can provide opening, safety protection or monitoring functions.
SMART FOCUS can open an automatic door just like a push button:
Small detection area (restaurant kitchens, interior end doors of high-speed trains, etc.).
SMART FOCUS's key feature is its ability to track changes in background and environment.
When ambient temperature or background changes, SMART FOCUS automatically compensates and recalibrates, delivering overall reliability and suitability for a wide range of situations.
A single or multiple SMART FOCUS units can work harmoniously and reliably at the seals of the fixed pillars of revolving doors.
SMART FOCUS can be installed vertically (with a background) or horizontally (without a background if necessary).
Revolving door - safety protection at the closure between the fixed pillar and moving wing
Curved door - safety protection at the door frame when closing
Sliding door - safety protection at the outer side of the door frame when opening
Swing door - safety protection at the door-frame gap when closing
Safety protection for automatic doors in restaurant kitchens
Automatic adjustment: for conventional applications and installation heights, simply press the control button to run automatic setup, and the detection area is configured automatically.
Manual adjustment: for special applications (extra-high installation, dark backgrounds, horizontal installation, etc.), turn the adjustment knob and use DIP switches to set the detection area precisely.
